Sou Feffrican Peektours

I oblige to peer pressure today :)

In the highveld, towards Parys, the more traditional native people live and thrive. This is my personal favourite of the SA landscapes, because it reminds me so much of where I grew up.

The Swartland, where some of the best wines in the world are made. I had the opportunity to visit this swell site in 2002 and had a tour through the Riebeeck Cellars wine making facility. It was an awesome experience!

I'm not much of a fan of Table Mountain, but it seems to be a blob of rock that attracts people by their thousands! Behind it lies the city of Capetown, the place where women tan topless. Ah yes, also known as "heaven" perhaps? Hehehe

The Windmill, often the only way to get water at certain places. The Free State has a lot of barren land, but water flows like magic about 20m beneath the surface.

Lush jungles at Knysna and George are protected areas, and hiking through them is something I am yet to experience. I have a cousin that stays in Knysna who refuses to move up again, because it's just so awesome there.

A close relative. He has asked to remain anonymous.

The rare "South African Humming Bird"
Oh, how did this slip in here?
Then people ask my why I'm in a band....

Mapuzi morning, by James Stapley

Lady that works with me JUST walked in and told me she witnessed a mugging.

I work at an office park that overlooks Gillooly's Farm, and that's where the mugging happened. And the management of the place just shrugged.

It's such a beautiful place, but you can't even eat lunch in peace. When will the madness end?

Good thing the birds don't carry wallets.
