Another day in paradise
Now there's an overly used statement right there, and it's never used to truely reflect a feeling.
So what is up with work, why don't we ever meet someone who loves their job? Everyone's always bitching about how hard they work, how little they get paid, and how nice the boss has it. I beg to differ though, I have a boss that doesn't sleep at night because it's all BUT easy.
This is not the case for everyone though, so I'd leave it at that.
Truth is, I'm one of the countless millions that hates their jobs. Wanna know why? Cause I'm overworked and underpaid.
BUT
The office is close to Leo's place, so I could always head over there for some male company, a beer or two, and some ceremonial ogling of women. What would life be without the females, I mean really. They provide distraction with their nice behinds, lovely faces and perfumes, and of course the extra bits and pieces that us men find so fascinating.
Last night, the new lineup of the band got on stage for the first time. With Marc, Mo, Barend and myself, the band had plenty of gigging experience, but since Mo and Marc left, a lot has changed. Barend moved to vocals, Tim took over Mo's role on bass and Gavin took Barend's job on guitar. We are so much heavier than we used to be, and the crowd absolutely loved us last night. Promising, even in the country where techno, pop and R&B are the only things anyone ever cares about.
Yar, back to the grindstone again...
